About
I’m an economics Ph.D. student at the University of California, Berkeley and an SSHRC Doctoral Fellow.
My work sits at the intersection of macroeconomics, international economics, and finance, with a focus on financial market frictions, exchange rates, and capital flows.
Alongside research, I also write commentary on macroeconomics and global affairs. I am a columnist for The Globe and Mail, and I've contributed to the Financial Times and Foreign Policy.
I previously earned an M.A. in economics from Yale University and a B.A. from the University of Toronto, where I studied economics, mathematics, and philosophy.
